A cheat sheet for robots, written from your catalog.
Shopify gives every store a default llms.txt, but it can't see your products. Paste your store and we'll read your public collections and products and draft one that can.
Before you paste it
- Rewrite the summary line in your own words. It's the first thing an agent reads.
- Trim the product list to the ones you're known for. Prices go stale, so update the file when they change, or drop the prices.
- Keep the
{{ agents.… }}lines. They're Shopify's live links to your store's UCP and MCP endpoints.

Questions
Doesn't Shopify already make an llms.txt?
Yes. Since May 2026 Shopify serves a default /agents.md, mirrored at /llms.txt. Its template can't read your catalog, so it can't say much about what you sell. This tool writes that part for you.
Where do I put the result?
In your theme: Online Store, Themes, Edit code, then add a template named agents.md.liquid and paste it in. It then serves /agents.md, /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt.
Will it get me into ChatGPT shopping?
Not on its own. Product listings in AI channels come from Shopify's catalog. llms.txt helps an agent understand your store once it's looking.
